Deal Order & Priorities Explained

Priority of deals for Sellers and Partners

Updated over a week ago

Partners and Sellers both have lists of deals on their landing page. Deals are listed by priority, which directly affects how Buyers view them in the marketplace.

Partners

Clickpath: Build Your Marketplace > Deals

The Order column determines the order in which Buyers will see deals listed in the marketplace. You can also Feature or Endorse deals to highlight them for buyers in the Curation column.

Featured deals appear in their own section at the top of the marketplace, above the rest of the ordered deals. Endorsements don't affect the display order; they simply appear in the tile for that deal.

By default, deals are added to the deal list in the order that they're selected from the Catalog (new additions are ordered last). You can reorder deals at any time by toggling "Enable Re-order deals" and dragging/dropping them into their new position.

Frequently Asked Questions (Partners)

Q: I accidentally deleted a deal from the Deals page. How do I get it back?
A: Return to the Catalog to re-add the deal. Then reorder as needed.

Q: How do I toggle on/off features or endorsements?
A: Click the edit pencil next to the deal to view toggle options.

Q: A deal that I added is suddenly missing from the list. Where did it go?
A: The vendor has removed the deal. You can confirm this in the Deal Activity Tab.

Q: How can I see what deals look like to my community?
A: We have a Preview for that!

Sellers

Clickpath: Sell Your Products > Manage Deals

Partners can add any deal where you've set them as your target audience. The Priority column on the Manage Deals page determines which deal Buyers will see if Partners add more than 1 of your offers.

Best Practices for Preferred Sellers

Place partner-specific deals first, group deals in the middle, and "general" deals last.

Example:

Priority 1: 20% Off - Sequoia
Priority 2: 15% Off - underrepresented groups
Priority 3: 10% Off - all companies

Since the "best" deal is Priority 1, it ensures that the Partner sees this instead of Priorities 2 or 3.

If you select a different deal for Priority 1 later, this will automatically reflect in Partners' marketplaces and appear in their Deal Activity.
