Admin Log

Tracking offer activity across your marketplace

Updated this week

Clickpath: Build Your Marketplace > Admin Log

"Deal Activity" has a new name: the Admin Log. This page is a timeline of changes made to offers that are on our platform. Here, you'll find a log of what has been added and removed from your marketplace - either by your fellow team members or sellers. This includes actions that can affect the Listings page (your marketplace view), the Sellers page (offers available to add to your marketplace), and the Builtfirst Catalog (offers available for all marketplace owners to add).

The table records all activity from the time your company's account was created. Rows are sorted from most to least recent by default, but you can rearrange this as needed using any combination of sort, column, and filter options.

FAQ

Q: Can my buyers see deals that are shown in the Builtfirst Catalog?

A: No. As a marketplace owner, you must manually add deals from the Catalog to your marketplace via the Listings page.

Q: Can I be emailed when a Seller removes a deal I've added from the Catalog?
A: Yes! By default, this type of notification is on for all team members. Double-check or change your settings on the My Notifications page.

Q: What happens if a seller edits an offer that is already on my Listings page?

A: This will depend on your marketplace. Most marketplaces maintain the default setting of allowing already added discounts to update immediately after a seller makes changes to it. Some marketplaces, however, opt to automatically deactivate any offers that have been changed until their team can review the updates.

Q: What happens if a seller moves their offer from "Active" status to "Inactive"?
A: This will remove the offer from your marketplace. Even if the same deal is later moved back to "live", you will need to manually re-add it to your marketplace.

Q: How soon do changes appear in Deal Activity?
A: There is a 5 minute grace period between making changes and those changes appearing in activity. This is to avoid "spamming" in the event that someone makes continuous edits to the same offer in a short period of time.
