You can invite them individually and/or upload them in bulk (this is known as whitelisting). You can also send out a link that grants instant access.

Yes! You decide whether users can join your marketplace with or without permission. You can also choose to make your marketplace visible to all, but then make discount redemptions for signed-in users only.

Utilize the monthly deal digest (automatically enabled on your Communications page) and/or set up automatic Slack notifications.

A monthly email is automatically enabled for your team members to let you know which deals were most viewed and redeemed. (This is separate from the buyer-facing Deal Digest.) You can also drill-down into more details on the Analytics page and send that data to a third-party tool of your choice using webhooks.

A Seller is a vendor that creates offers to be redeemed in your marketplace.
How do I get my Sellers onto Builtfirst?

Sellers need to receive an invitation email to create deals for your marketplace.
Are my Sellers offering deals just for my marketplace? Or can they create deals for other marketplaces too?

Sellers can only create offers for marketplaces they've been invited to. The only exception to this rule is Preferred Sellers.
Can my Buyers also be Sellers?

Yes! Note that Buyers don't automatically have this access unless you enable it in your marketplace. Otherwise, they must receive a Seller invitation from you to spin up offers in your marketplace.

Yes! Sellers can create listings - these are general descriptions of the products/services that they offer and is separate from deals.

Not at this time. Someone must be on the other end to manage the Seller's account. As long as a Seller account is set up, though, you can upload offers that they'll just approve to be shown in your marketplace.

Due to how quickly things can change on vendors' teams, we're unable to facilitate introductions. However, each seller's profile has a list of contacts that you can reach out to via the Inbox!

As many as you wish! There is no limit to the number of offers you can add.

Yes. Click the red trashcan next to an offer on the Products page to remove it from your marketplace. It will still be available in the Catalog if you wish to re-add it later.
Can I have multiple marketplaces?

Yes! Refer to your billing plan to see how many marketplaces you can create today. If you already have the maximum number of marketplaces for your current plan, reach out to us at support@builtfirst.com to discuss pricing for adding another.
What's the difference between a Product/Service and a Deal?
What's the difference between a Product/Service and a Deal?
A product/service is also known as a listing. This is a general description of what a Seller's business does, such as "Consulting Services".
A deal is a specific discount, such as "10% off" or "1 month free".
I added a Seller from the Catalog, but don't see any deals. Why not?

Some Sellers' offers are only available to specific marketplaces, even if they appear in your Catalog. Adding a Seller's product/service doesn't guarantee access to their deals. Use the inbox to contact those Sellers and negotiate a deal for your marketplace!

You can feature or endorse any offer in your marketplace to push it to the top or just let your Buyers know that you think it's a good deal.
Collections also allow you to group discounts together into bundles that you can name (ex. Coworking, Tech Stacks, Real Estate).

Your marketplace is available on web and mobile devices (phones, tablets) automatically.

The majority of deals offered are for early-stage startups and/or users that are new customers to the vendor. Be sure to check the deal information to confirm whether a deal is for new customers only.

Sellers will provide all information regarding offers, restrictions, and instructions for redemption.
Keep in mind that although offers are listed in Builtfirst, our team does not have access to Sellers' internal systems, processes, or troubleshooting tools. We'll always do our best to help with redemption issues/questions, but ultimately the resolution lies with the Seller.
Can I redeem offers on behalf of my Buyers?
Can I redeem offers on behalf of my Buyers?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Vendors review/apply redemption requests based on individual companies' contact and account information. Since all offers are applied on a case-by-case basis, the Buyer must be the one to place the request/submit their application.

Not difficult at all! Just copy the embed code from Builtfirst and paste it to your site.

Dark mode is not available at this time. However, you can change your marketplace's background and text to any color if it better matches your site's aesthetic.

Yes! All of this is editable in the no-code editor.
How can my Buyers search my marketplace?

Each offer that you add is automatically visible in your marketplace. By default, your marketplace will have a search bar and options to filter by type of product/service or Seller name. (Note: Product/Service categories are selected by the Seller.)
You can remove any of these options as needed using the no-code editor.

Troubleshooting
My Buyers are getting 500/502/504 errors when trying to view the marketplace.

Marketplaces rely on browser cookies to authenticate users. Make sure your Buyers aren't viewing Builtfirst in an incognito window and don't have multiple Builtfirst tabs open at once.
My Buyer created an account, but they keep getting an error that their login credentials are incorrect.

Make sure they're not logging in at manage.builtfirst.com - this url is for Marketplace Admins and Sellers only. Buyers should be logging in via your custom domain (domainhere.builtfirst.com) or auto sign-in.

There are typically 2 possible reasons for this:
The user is a buyer making a request from manage.builtfirst.com (which is for Marketplace Admins and Sellers only).
The user has previously unsubscribed from Builtfirst emails.
