Using the Storefront Admin Portal

Explanation of the left menu for storefront owners and admins

You can manage different areas of your storefront account using the lefthand menu. This guide breaks down each what each section is for.

The owner of your storefront will have access to each section of the menu. Other admins may see less depending on permissions set for them in Roles & Permissions.


Storefronts

The Storefronts tab is the initial step for creating a storefront. Here, you can view and navigate between all of the storefronts you've created.


Listings

The Listings tab is everything that's in your storefront right now. Use this page to manage those listings and deals. You can view, reorder, feature, endorse, and delete items via this page. Sellers' activities (changes to products/deals) are also located here.


Sellers

The Sellers tab is the central location where you'll manage the sellers (vendors) that can offer products or deals in your storefront.

  • All displays every seller you've added to your storefront.

  • Available indicates sellers with products/deals available for your storefront.

  • Active shows seller with products/deals that you've already added to your storefront.

  • Invites displays any invitations you've sent to sellers that have yet to onboard to Builtfirst.

Note that offers created by sellers are not automatically added to your storefront.


The Catalog tab opens the door to sellers you've not yet added, encompassing Builtfirst's network of premier software and service vendors.

You'll see all vendors, along with available listings/deals in the All and Available tabs. Once added, you can manage your Sellers and their offers via the Sellers and Listings pages respectively.


Use the Collections tab to group products/deals you've added into easy-to-see bundles for your buyers. You can add titles and descriptions to each collection to show why specific offers may be attractive to your buyers.


Buyers

Manage your Buyers (founders, startups, customers) from the Buyers page. These are the users that will access your storefront to shop for discounts. You'll see two tabs here:

  • Buyers - list of companies/organizations shopping your storefront

  • Contacts - individual users from those companies in the buyers tab

Reviews

Your Buyers can review the various products and deals you've added to the storefront. You can view and manage this feedback in the Reviews tab.

This hub is where you'll manage email notifications that are sent to your buyers and sellers. Edit message copy, set up custom email senders, and activate/deactivate notifications here.

Looking to activate/deactivate messages that you receive from Builtfirst? Go to My Notifications.


Insights

Analytics

The Analytics page charts your buyers' searched terms, listings/deals reviewed, and listings/deals that have been activated (redeemed). Everything here can be exported into a csv file.

Activity

The Activity table records actions that your buyers are taking in the storefront, such as: verifying their emails, using the search bar, and clicking on offers. Each action can be viewed row-by-row, filtered, or sorted for your use case. You can also download a copy of the log here as a csv.

Admin Log

See your storefront management at a glance. The Admin Log page is similar to Activity, but the actions tracked are specific to your team members. Use this page to find records of who adds/removes offers from your storefronts and who approves/rejects buyers' access or redemption requests. Like all other chronological logs, contents of this page can be filtered, sorted, and exported at your convenience.


Settings

Languages

All storefronts generate with copy in English, but you can add an unlimited number of additional languages for your buyers to browse in. Keep in mind that copy is not automatically translated; you and your sellers must provide translations per each language added.

Connect a third-party tool to your storefront account.


Designate which admin pages your team members can access. Use our pre-made roles or create your own to better fit your organization.


Webhooks

Send your storefront into an endpoint of your choice. You'll need someone with development knowledge to set this up.


Notifications Hub

Enable/disable storefront-related notifications that are sent to your team members. These settings are general and per storefront. This means that any enabled notification will be sent to any user that has opted into that email, which they can toggle on/off for each storefront you own via My Notifications.

Inbox

Send messages to sellers you find in Builtfirst.


My Profile

Update your first name, last name, and/or personal photo.


My Notifications

Opt in/out of the notifications set in the Notifications Hub.


My Company

Update your company's name, descriptions, social media links, and/or logos.


My Team

Add or remove team members to help manage your storefront account.
